Sassy lost her fight with adrenal gland disease shortly before 3am last night. She was an amazing and sweet ferret and I will miss her very much. If it wasn't for her, Loki wouldn't be here with me now. Every time I walk into a room I expect to see her sweet little face looking up at me. I will miss her look, her inquisitive little face, and the way she would just quietly follow me around the house. I hope she is somewhere having fun now, maybe chasing fussa, in perfect health and able to do all the things she couldnt do in the last month of her life. I will always miss you and keep you close to my heart dear sassy.

Where's Waldo has nothing on Sassy
Below are pictures of some of the more ingenious hiding places that sassy has found. This was in my old house in Pennsylvania. My place in Rhode Island doesn't have quite the space and it makes it much easier to find her now days. The first time she disappeared I found her in my shorts after many frantic hours of searching. Then, not being able to find her again, I finally found her in my kitchen towel drawer. I took out the towels in hopes of her finding a new place. She did, in my zip lock bags. Once taking all those out, she stopped sleeping in there. She decided that my pots and pans were real cozy........ and now the pics........

My original blog was for sassy, a ferret that came to live me from a friend whose ferrets revolted against her after being rescued. She was the master of hiding where I couldn't find her and I had many pictures to prove her efforts to ditch me. The original blog was destroyed as verizon can deliver such great service(gag!). So I am at a loss as to how to start this one and include the original information. But I guess first I should introduce you to Sassy and Loki. This picture to the left is a happily snoozing sassy. The picture to the right is Loki sleeping with me when he was still a sweet little boy(the first day he lived with me). I will add more in time as soon as I figure out which way to proceed with the blog.
